Usually, when we are at our worst, we find it hardest to reach out. It can feel scary, burdensome or even unhelpful to open up about mental health crises with family and friends. While community is so important, there is also a network of professionals who dedicate themselves to being available for those moments when we can’t seem to find one good number in our contact list. If you are in regular mental health services, these are great for after-hours support, just be sure to let your counselor know when you needed to utilize them. For those waiting on services or seeking to find a good fit, these may be life-saving.
Emergency: If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go straight to your nearest emergency room.
